Wow! What a weekend of action for the BADGERS. To start with, on a glorious Saturday morning, a record 365 people descended upon Kingsbury Water Park for the 91st parkrun and an incredible 29 BADGERS ran the event with another 8 volunteering in addition to this. First home in a fantastic time of 17:18 and a PB and new club record to boot was Danny Warren. Such was the high quality of the race, this effort incredibly only mustered 5th position. The female course record was obliterated and no fewer than 5 BADGERS achieved new personal bests. Chris Horton continued his streak of (54) top ten finishes in 18:17, Chris Upton also returning after injury ran an impressive 20:52. Dave Earp (21:54) and Rachael Bunting (23:49) both continued their improvement with new bests, while the popular pair of Hayley Carter and Kerrie Dickens also produced their best ever times over the 5k distance. Also running were Alan Argyle, Luke Miles, Paul Grubb, Claire Sheasby, Adie Kirkham, Pete Boardman, Sarah Lea, Yvonne Feasey, Jessica Welch, Stephanie Sharrott, Tracy Elsdon, father and daughter John & Anna Savin-Baden, Mandy Hanson, Clare Whetton, Louise Winter, Kelly Gothard, Karen Thompson, Sharron Fisher, Sue Wilson, Vicki Howard and Emily Karim.
