2022 LRRL - Race 8

Information

• Location: Next PLC Head Office, Desford Road, Enderby, LE19 4AT. Please note the new location. Due to the continued closure of Huncote Leisure Centre, the race will start and finish in the car park at the rear of the Next PLC Head Office in Enderby, the rest of the course remains unchanged.

• Car Parking: Parking is at Next PLC Head Office, Desford Road, Enderby, LE19 4AT.

• Race Number: Race numbers will need to be collected by a representative from each LRRL club on the night. Unattached runners to collect their own numbers. Please allow time to pick up your number before the race and please bring your own safety pins.

• Changing Facilities: There will be NO ACCESS to Next Head Office, and therefore there will be NO showers or access to changing rooms. There will be space on the grass for club tents. 

• Please note: the whole car parking area is covered by CCTV so PLEASE ONLY USE THE TOILETS PROVIDED.

• Chip Timing: This race is chip timed. Your chip will be attached to your race number.

• Race Start: We will be operating a rolling start. Please congregate on the carpark based on predicted finishing times and proceed to the start when you are called. Race positions and timings will be based on chip times.

• Headphones: No headphones, including bone conductors, will be allowed during the race, as per UK Athletics rules: “The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic.” Anyone seen wearing headphones will be disqualified from the race.

Men – 6 runners (includes U20, Senior Men and VM40+)

Ladies – 4 runners (includes U20, Senior Women, and VW40+)

Vet Men – 4 runners (VM40+ only)

Vet Ladies – 3 runners (VW40+ only)
