Beginner BADGERS

Wednesday 18:30 - 19:30

For anyone new to running, Beginner BADGERS carefully support you as you train for your first 5 km run, it will teach you about warming up, cooling down, stretching and much more. The RunLeaders will guide you as you run further each week, with useful tips, whilst providing friendly support and motivation. Children must be at least 12 years old or older to take part at BADGERS.

Don't worry if you can't the Run Leaders will have a copy you can fill out on you first session. (Note: This is not a membership form, the membership form can only be found online)

Important Notices

  • Our next beginner programme will start on 11th September 2019 in Polesworth at the High School.
  • There is no need to pre book, just turn up on week one ready to run! See you soon!
  • The cost is either £20 up front for the 12 weeks, or £2 pay as you go.
  • Sorry but no new starters after week 3 (25/09/2019).
  • Hi-visibility clothing and a head torch is recommended to run!
  • Please make sure you are well hydrated prior to the session, especially in warmer weather.
  • Please keep to the paths where available, be mindful and give way to pedestrians.
  • If running on roads please be aware of traffic and run in single file towards oncoming vehicles.
  • Taking part in the sessions is done so at your own risk.
  • Please park legally and sensibly at all times.
